报告内容： The Bedford-McMullen carpets are the first class of self-affine sets studied by mathematicians. Later, the studies are carried out for a class of self-affine sets called diagonal self-affine sets. In this talk, we review the recent progress on dimension theory of diagonal self-affine sets. The Hausdorff dimension is given by variation principles, as the box dimension, in the known cases, is given by the Moran-type formula. Finally，we mention some results on the intermediate dimension. 　　　　　　　　

报告人简历：饶辉，1995年博士毕业于武汉大学，曾先后在香港、日本、法国、德国等国家工作和访问，现为华中师范大学数学与统计学学院教授、博导。研究方向为分形几何、拓扑、动力系统与Tiling理论。饶辉老师在Pisot谱猜测、自仿tile的数字集结构以及自相似集的Lipschitz等价等国际热门问题上做出了一系列开创性研究成果。目前已在Adv. Math., JMPA, TAMS等国际知名数学杂志发表论文60余篇，主持和参与国家自然科学基金面上项目、重点项目等多项。
